Mylar Balloons are the shiny, foil, metallic looking balloons that come
pre-printed with messages such as "Happy Birthday" and "Get Well
Soon." Mylar Balloons have a very long "Flying Time" and can last up
to 2 months.
Latex Balloons
Latex Balloons are the solid color, elastic, rubber balloons that come in
many different colors. Normal "flying time" with helium is approx. 14
hours. If Hi-Float is used, latex balloons can last up to 25 times as
long.
Hospital Deliveries
Please note that we can not send Latex Balloons to hospitals. Hospital
policy does not allow Latex Balloons into hospital facilities due to
Latex allergies and also because Latex Balloons can become a tripping
hazard as they deflate. This policy applies for both hospital patients
and hospital employees. If you select Latex Balloons going to a
hospital we will substitute with an equal dollar value of Mylar Balloons.
